This past June during the run of The March at Steppenwolf Theater I got the amazing opportunity to sit down with the team over at emerging Spearhead Chicago, Chicago’s newest performance arts magazine showcasing some of Chicago’s hottest talents. The wonderful Jacob Schuler followed me through the photo shoot, into a car for an audition and back with recorder in hand prodding some of my most intimate feelings out. He is one of the most gentle spirits you would ever meet and I talk a lot so I had no problem. He has pulled from our time together a wonderful article. Also featured in the first issue is one of my great friends and Playwrights Ike Holter and the amazing band I have numerously bobbed my head and swooned over The Stacks. Check out and support the future issues of this stunning magazine. Shouts out to Alexis Jade Links, one of the major power houses of Chicago herself, who is never acknowledged enough for her commitment and spirit she puts into all her work. Shouts to the rest of the amazing squad, Josh Jeager, Brittany Squier, Janie Killips, Cameron Benoit and Kelsey Jorrison.
